The new Rogue R2X Wash lighting fixture from Chauvet Professional is an updated version of the Rogue R2 Wash and developed in response to a recent advance in LED lamp technology. The new version is almost twice as bright as the Rogue R2 Wash when producing a single color, and 20% brighter at full output, achieved without changing the fixture’s DMX profile and with no changes to its form factor. Powered by 19 OSRAM 25W RGBW LEDs, the engine produces a brightness of 8,650 lux measured at 5m. With a new calibrated white mode, output is balanced to roughly 7,000k when it is brought up to full intensity. The fixture is also now RDM-compatible, and users can set their own calibration via the fixture’s menu.
