In March 2019, Trade Show News Network revealed its 2018 TSNN Top Trade Shows list. Live Design International (LDI) is honored among the country's top 250 trade shows, ranked by square footage, with a net square footage of 135,500 for its 353 exhibitors and 14,000 attendees.
“There are over 10,000 trade shows a year in the US, and we are very pleased that LDI is ranked as one of the top 250 trade shows by Trade Show Executive Magazine," says Gary Lynch, VP/Group Show Director for the Live Experience Group (LDI, XLIVE, WFX). "LDI has been the leading trade show for live design professionals for 30 years, and we take great pride in creating an exceptional show experience for our exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees. Plus being a part of Informa gives us access to best practices from some of the world’s leading events.”
LDI's parent company Informa has the most shows on the list overall, with 20.
“When joining Informa Exhibitions, my goal was to create communities around the globe that empower industries, businesses and professionals,” says Charlie McCurdy, CEO of Informa Exhibitions. “This has remained a strong focus and our achievement as a leading exhibitions organizer can be attributed to our continued commitment to organize market-defining events that support and engage communities 365 days a year. We are proud of the teams that have contributed to our success and consistently provide customers and partners with powerful experiences that enable business opportunities. Having 20 events included in this year’s TSNN Top 250 list is quite an achievement and a testament to our efforts and performance as a combined group.”
As the leading tradeshow and conference for live design professionals from all around the globe, LDI has been on TSNN Top Trade Show list since 2014 and was named one of TSNN's Top 25 Fastest Growing Shows in 2015.
LDI hosts over 14,000 members of the production community, working in a wide range of international live and broadcast venues – festivals, corporate events, theatre, concerts, clubs, theme parks, architainment, and houses of worship. The community hails from more than 80 countries to see the latest gear in action, refresh knowledge, and replenish creativity.
