Chatting with Lighting Designer Cory FitzGerald

Cory FitzGerald started working at a lighting shop in Los Angeles in 1998 and has been working in live production ever since. As a Senior Design Partner at Silent House Productions, his recent projects include designing for Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, and Gwen Stefani.

As part of the Spotlight Live @ LDI program, FitzGerald as well as video/projection expert Bob Bonniol and live sound influencer Sarah Jones, will roam the LDI2019 show floor, checking out exhibitor booths and their latest innovations and products, while broadcasting it on Facebook Live and Live Design Online. If you're an exhibitor and would like to meet with one of these experts during LDI, please contact LDI digital sales manager, Joanne Zola.

"LED white light sources are everywhere," he says. "Kinetic fixtures, winches, battery-powered, and drone fixtures are changing the way we see a space. Immersive and experiential design is where everything is headed. Interactive technology, VR, and AR have unlimited possibility."
