Austral Flora Ballet Dances Upon Sails of Sydney Opera House

Vivid Sydney—the largest festival of light, music, and ideas in the Southern Hemisphere—once again illuminated Sydney, Australia from May 24 - June 15, 2019. One of the most mesmerizing projection mapping feats iconic to the festival is the annual "Lighting of the Sails." Under the supervision of design and technical director Brandon Parvini and executive producer Brandon Hirzel, Los Angeles-based creative studio BEMO delivered 12 minutes of video content within three months for Austral Flora Ballet, envisioned by director and visionary artist Andrew Thomas Huang with soundscape by Kelsey Lu. BEMO also worked in collaboration with Australian-based creative collective, Collider, the Vivid Festival Group, Sydney Opera House, and City of Sydney.
