31 Days Of Plots

31 Days Of Plots: Illumination - Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum

To celebrate the achievements of 2018 and to welcome all the prospects of 2019, Live Design is conducting 31 Days Of Plots. Every day during the month of December 2018, we will highlight a different lighting design, from across theatre, concert tours, corporate events, and more.

For a sixth year, The Morton Arboretum partnered with Lightswitch to direct and design Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum, a non-traditional holiday experience that supports The Morton Arboretum's tree-focused mission as the the champion of trees.

Serving as both creative directors and visual designers, the Lightswitch team worked with The Morton Arboretum to build on five years of runaway success for a sixth year. This year, Lightswitch created an all new route through new experiences including the transportive Woodland Wonder, the peaceful Tranquility Trail, an amazing Champion Tree, and a site-specific installation Crown of Light by renowned artist collective HYBYCOZO.
