Most Interesting Worship Tech Director Articles for 2016, Part 3

Following the couple hundred of written contributions by more than 40 writers to the Worship Tech Director website over the past year, as Site Editor, I wanted to take the time to recognize some of the best written and intriguing pieces that have been posted to the site since mid-January, around when the site was relaunched.

Having last week highlighted five of the top performing articles over the year, including Harness the Power of Color for Your Stage Lighting!, by Duke DeJong, I also wanted to point out five extremely well written pieces worthy of another read, or for those who might have missed them the first time, an opportunity to read them now.

Yesterday, I pointed out a piece by Tony Staires, Production Audio Coordinator at Granger Community Church in Granger, Ind., which was posted to the site on July 22. A few months earlier, on March 15, the Worship and Creative Arts Pastor for Grace Point Church in San Antonio, Nathan VonMinden, wrote a piece, To The Budding Church Filmmaker.

I found VonMinden’s piece solid in offering to-the-point commentary on the process of filmmaking, particularly testimony videos, and the challenge of “telling (the story) well.”

Other articles that will be highlighted later in the week will be pieces that were written Eric Bramlett, Creative Arts Director at Community Christian Church and Brad Duryea, Director of Audio Technologies at Lakewood Church.

For those who haven't yet had an opportunity to read "To The Budding Church Filmmaker" take the time to read the article here:
