Most would agreeit's not easy being in church communications. There is an inevitable dichotomy between the work of creatives and ministries. Everyone has the same mission or should, but the process of working together"iron sharpening iron"is never simple or easy despite being good and beneficial. Yet, while this inevitable tension will always be present this side of heaven, things tend to go wrong and problems escalate when there is an imbalance in the purpose and objectives of those in communication. So, in order to work against these issues and to build a healthy, thriving communication team, there must be a balanced approachone that equally incorporates three aspects: creativity, strategy and service.
