The Best of the Best Worship Tech Director Pieces of 2018, Part 1

With 2018 winding down, upon looking at more than 200 Worship Tech Director articles posted on the Worship Facilities website over the last 12 months, there were five articles in particular that have stood out among all the others, with each having garnered so much attention to have collected more than 3,000 pageviews or greater since the start of the year.

Of the five articles, four were either audio- or microphone-focused, with a fifth dealing with LED walls.

In a piece dated, March 1, by Debbie Keough, former tech director at Coast Hills Community Church, located in Aliso Viejo, California, titled, “The Role of An Audio Director: Plan Both to Succeed and Fail,” it discussed how “Many audio engineers only think about what they need to mix. Encourage your teams to think through their workflows and how it may directly impact other areas.”

Since her article posted to the webiste, it has garnered nearly 3,300 pageviews, fifth most among all Worship Tech Director articles for 2018.

Throughout the piece, it also discussed the value of planning and organization for an audio director, and the key aspects about working with volunteers.
