Digital media solutions specialists Projected Image Digital hosted two Festive Open Days in West London to illustrate the range of digital output and control products offered by the company. The invite-only event attracted a mix of concert and architectural LDs and theatre designers.
Of special interest was a selection of new developments including Element Labs VersaPIXEL™, and the DL.2 moving projector head and Catalyst v4 media server from High End Systems. PID also had Carallon’s Pharos DMX architectural lighting controller on-hand, which was of interest to the installation attendees. The Catalyst v4 in particular attracted a flurry of interest from existing users.
PID had experts onsite to demonstrate the technologies and answer all necessary questions. Visitors could also get hands-on with the products.
“It’s really proved such a popular and successful format that we plan to repeat the exercise in Spring '06,” PID’s David March comments.
