GoVision Takes Mobile Video To The Extreme

GoVision unveiled one of the world’s largest mobile video screens this past weekend at the Fair St. Louis 4th of July festival in St. Louis, MO. The truck-mounted super screen, boasting a massive 19-foot by 33-foot widescreen configuration also features high-definition resolution.

“GoBigger sets a new standard in the mobile video industry,” says Chris Curtis, CEO of GoVision. “By rolling out the first mobile, true high-definition LED screen, GoVision is making this popular technology available to all rental markets for the first time. We’re combining sheer size with high resolution and superior pixel count to produce the highest-quality experience available in the outdoor LED marketplace.”

The GoBigger screen was produced by South Dakota-based Daktronics, and mounted in a specially equipped 18-wheel tractor-trailer by Craftsmen Industries of St. Charles, MO. “This screen is truly a game-changing piece of equipment,” observes Jay deBlonk, Daktronics mobile and modular product manager. “The HD-16 LED technology and high-definition processing offer the most advanced daylight-visible resolution on the market today, while the sheer size of the video display is simply overwhelming.”

“The world’s largest LED video screen deserves a world-class ride, and that’s what we created for the GoBigger unit,” adds Joe Helmsing, Craftsmen Industries CEO. “Not only did we equip the trailer with a state-of-the-art production studio, but through our design and engineering we made this trailer truly best-in-class.”

“Our screens are no longer an expense item for most events,” explains Brady Haass, GoVision’s director of sales. “Advertisers and event sponsors often pay handsomely for the right to promote their brands on the units and integrate their commercials into the video.”
