Martin, Jem, and Mach At PLASA 2005

Martin Professional will be exhibiting a full ensemble of new lighting, sound, and fog effects at PLASA 2005. On display at the Martin stand (F54) will be the MAC 700, the latest high-performance luminaire in Martin's line of award-winning moving heads; the MAC 250 Wash, a 250W washlight in the MAC 250 Series; as well as updated versions of Maxxyz (v1.5) and the Maxedia Digital Media Composer (v2.0). Jem smoke will display its AF-2 fan and new 16-headed Hydra fog system.

New Mania series lights will also be on display. Mania SCX600, the newest scanner in the Mania series, is a 250W halogen moving mirror effect with state-of-the-art optics. The SCX600 features separate color and gobo wheels (seven interchangeable rotating gobos with nine interchangeable colors and a split color feature). The Mania EFX500 is a 250W halogen effect light that features a rotating and swiveling mirror drum with rotating parabolic mirror dish for dynamic, sharp optics. A combined color and gobo wheel houses a myriad of gobo designs. Other effects can be achieved through electronic dimming, strobe and manual focus. The Mania lights are DMX controllable and designed for both installation and portable use. They include built-in macros for easy impression and fast programming.

Mach speakers will be launching the Mach CW 115, a new subwoofer in its C-Range of installation speakers. The CW 115 is a reflex loaded sub that gives a deep and fast bass output. The subwoofer is constructed with a sturdy Baltic plywood cabinet and features a SafeCoat coating for optimal strength. The CW 115 features the same flying point principles used on the C-Range top boxes. It matches the CN and CM series from the Mach C-Range.

The Mach C-Range includes the CI Series of molded speakers for in-fill applications; CN Series for natural sound reproduction in near field applications; CM Series of dedicated top boxes for medium throw applications; and the CW Series of subwoofers. Also, the first in a series of white CI Series molded speakers, the CI 6, will feature at PLASA.
