The Philips Vari-Lite VL3015LT Spot Luminaire provides the increased output of a 1,500W lamp in a fixture that offers many of the same features found in the VL3000 Spot. The VL3015LT Spot uses the 1,500W Osram double-ended short-arc lamp to produce more than 42,000 lumens and is capable of a 10:1 zoom range, suitable for long throw applications. The fixture also offers CYM color mixing and variable CTO color temperature correction, while housing two five-position color wheels, three gobo/effects wheels, a beam-size iris, separate dimmer, and an ultra-fast strobe mechanism. The luminaire also contains an independent, drop-in armature that rotates, is indexable, and is capable of holding a five-facet prism and frost glass.
