LEE Filters has launched a new range of 19 of the most popular Lee colors in its new LED Filter range to address issues of using colored lighting filters in front of a cool white LED or mixing cool white LED plus tungsten sources. These gels, when used on Cool White LED (>6,000K), are designed specifically to give a visual color match to the existing colors on tungsten (3,200K). Additionally, four new CTO colors have been designed to convert white LED sources (color temperatures from 5,000-7,000K) to the equivalent of a 3,200K tungsten source, allowing different types of luminaires to blend together without the viewer or digital camera seeing a difference.
