Jands has designed a console specifically for LED fixtures, the Stage CL, distributed in the US by A.C. Lighting Inc. It provides 12 direct fixture-control channels that include a one-press recording system and a touchscreen interface, packaged in a compact chassis that users can carry in one hand. Each of the 12 “channels” has a saturation encoder and a hue encoder that can be adjusted to set the color. As the dials are turned, a mimic LED on the channel shows the color being created. To speed things up, users can group any number of channels together and use just one set of controls to set the color for all of them.
