Tomcat now offers (core), a new line of truss that consists of 12"x12", 12"x18", and 20.5"x20.5" box truss, based on market demand for stronger, slightly lighter, and less expensive products. (core)12 is conventional 12"x12" light-duty box truss, modified to provide a more efficient truss. At 60lbs for a 10' section and able to sustain 1,040lbs total Uniformly Distributed Load over a 40' span—a 200lb increase over conventional light-duty—it is light-duty stripped to the core. This range of products meets ANSI E1.2-2006. Other sizes and accessories are being developed to complete the product range and are expected to be available this month.
