Tools of the Trade: Analog Way Pulse and SmartVu

In addition to the recent introduction of Opus multi-layer hi-res mixer seamless switcher with three scalers, Analog Way offers four more high-res mixer seamless switchers but with two scalers: Pulse and SmartVu plus their corresponding Light Editions. Appropriate for large screen projections, conference rooms, houses of worship, boardrooms, and classrooms, all four units are fully controllable from their own front panels or via the included Remote Control Software. All are also equipped with TCP/IP and dual RS232, and are HDCP-compliant, offering universal analog and digital input/output. They output digital and analog signals in DVI and VGA (RGBHV) simultaneously with a selection of many formats up to computer 2K. They also feature true 10-bit SD/HD auto adaptive pixel-by-pixel 3D motion compensation processing, de-interlacing, auto 3:2 and 2:2 reverse pull down circuitry, processing, and frame follower.

Pulse offers 10 direct inputs including two fitted with DVI and two fitted with SD/HD-SDI; a mixer mode allowing the display of up to two live sources; up to two live PIPs on a still background (one in the Light version); preview; six full frame and six logo memories; an integrated audio stereo switcher with SDI audio de-embedder; DSK on DVI inputs; and fade/cut/wipe/slide.
