Rental-Source.com has created an innovative approach to allow manufacturers to direct end-users to their dealers / rental houses for the purpose of locating specific gear for rent. In fact, “This is the only online Rental Network of its kind,” brags Rental-Source staffer Tony Perez.
The basic concept to the Rental Network program is simple. Rental-Source works with leading manufacturers in the sound, lighting, and video markets to construct a central location for users to locate specific rental gear. In order for this program to be successful Rental-Source is partnering with manufacturers.
The first completed Rental Network was for High End System’s Digital Lighting range. A “Where to Rent HES Digital Lighting” link has been placed on High End Systems Digital Lighting page. Clicking this link will direct users to a web optimized landing page. In the case of the High End Systems Digital Lighting Rental Page, users or potential users of High End DL products would be able to obtain companies where they might rent Digital Lighting Products in the USA, Canada and eventually worldwide. A $199 fee for rental companies allows a rental vendor to list 2 pieces of manufacturers gear which would then include that company in the results on the landing page. The manufacturers are happy because they support the companies who are purchasing these products by feeding them rentals.
The Rental Network is being expanded to include several key manufacturers who have found it difficult to promote these rental inventories until now.
