Pathport® Touring Edition and Pathport eDIN
Pathway Connectivity

The Pathport Touring Edition is a single-port DMX node providing DMX-over-Ethernet management features in a truss-mountable form. Designed specifically for the touring and rental markets, the node is fully configurable without the need for a computer or a network connection. It features an IP54 rating and a battery-powered user interface for viewing or changing IP address, port direction, DMX speed, and other parameters. Normal show operation uses power-over-Ethernet. The unit also acts as a portable RDM controller able to discover, identify, and address any RDM-enabled devices downstream. Pathport eDIN is designed for system integrators requiring a compact DIN-rail mountable Ethernet node for use in NEMA enclosures. With a footprint of 3.5"×4.5" (90mm × 113mm), it can run on either power-over-Ethernet or an auxiliary 24VDC supply. It supplies DMX output via a pluggable terminal block or an RJ45 jack that is user-switchable between the ESTA standard DMX pin-out and the pin-out used by Philips Solid-State Lighting Solutions/Color Kinetics. Both new units support all popular Ethernet protocols, including ETC Net2 (output only), Strand ShowNet, Pathport, Streaming ACN, and Art-Net, and they can receive and merge different protocols simultaneously.

MasterBlast
City Theatrical

The MasterBlast utilizes a Philips Solid-State Lighting Solutions/Color Kinetics ColorBlast® 12 TR LED lighting fixture combined with SHoW DMX wireless DMX technology to create a wireless, battery-powered, LED lighting fixture with up to 10 hours of operating time. The built-in standalone routines and wireless DMX allow events to run without a lighting console, external wireless DMX gear, or power and data cables. The user interface allows for configuration as a transmitter or receiver, as well as the ability to select various standalone routines and radio settings. The user interface also provides a built-in battery gauge. The ColorBlast® 12 TR features a swing-down front that accommodates City Theatrical's unbreakable polycarbonate holographic lenses for a variety of symmetric and asymmetric beam spreads. In transmit mode, the unit's DMX output allows the same show to be broadcast wirelessly and output via wired DMX to other power/data supplies, enabling the combination of existing ColorBlast fixtures into large wired/wireless systems all receiving commands from a MasterBlast Transmitter and all running the same show without an external lighting console.

SOUND

Noise Stick
Rational Acoustics

Noise Stick is a phantom-powered pink noise generator that requires no batteries and no configuration. It has no power switch and is operated by plugging the unit into a phantom-powered microphone input. The unit is hand-built in the United States exclusively for Rational Acoustics by PMP Audio Works. Additional features include hand-matched transistors, 1% tolerance resistors, and a Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) random number generator that provides a pseudorandom signal without any obvious audible repeats. The output of the random number generator drives a hand-tuned filter bank that delivers a pink spectrum that is nominally flat within +/- 0.5dB from 20Hz to 20kHz on a fractional-octave analyzer. The frequency response and output level for each unit is tested at both the beginning and end of the burn-in process to ensure that both criteria perform over time without variation. The stick's housing is milled from a solid piece of aluminum rod to yield a thick walled tube, and the entire unit is filled with epoxy after assembly to protect the electronics from shock and increase its crush strength. The unit is warranted for three years.

T-Series
d&b audiotechnik

The T-Series includes the T10 passive two-way cabinet that houses two 6.5" drivers and a 1.4" exit HF compression driver, and can be used either as a compact component in a multiple-cabinet line array or, by rotating the horn, as a high directivity point source loudspeaker. The HF driver is fitted to a waveguide horn producing vertical line source directivity with a 90° horizontal pattern maintained down to approximately 600Hz. An acoustic lens placed in front of the horn widens horizontal dispersion to 105°. Rotation of the horn by 90° relative to this produces accurate point source dispersion, transforming a vertically oriented T10 into a standalone full range loudspeaker with 90° horizontal and 35° vertical directivity pattern. This is achieved through apertures in the cabinet sides allowing rotation to both the line and point source positions. The two 6.5" neodymium LF drivers are positioned in a dipolar arrangement providing high-level dispersion control even at lower frequencies. The T-SUB shares the same width and integrated rigging fittings as the T10 for deployment either flown at the top of a T10 array, in a separate column, or ground-stacked. It increases low frequency headroom and extends the bandwidth of a T10 column down to 47Hz. The bass-reflex design utilizes a high excursion 15“ driver with a neodymium magnet assembly and employs d&b SenseDrive technology when driven by the D12 amplifier.

ILA v2
QSC

QSC has introduced v2 of its new Installation Line Array (ILA). Intended as a turnkey package, the system includes dedicated full-range and subwoofer loudspeaker components, processing, amplification, and suspension accessories. Using the SC28 system controller with preset recall processing that optimizes loudspeakers, setup is possible without acoustical measurement equipment. QSC's proprietary Intrinsic Correction circuitry compensates for inherent transducer, waveguide magnitude, and time-based anomalies. Power is via RMX Series amplifiers, and the system's line array elements feature a pair of neodymium magnet, 8" diameter, low frequency drivers, both of which produce low frequencies, with one covering the midrange. For high frequencies, a pair of 1.75" neodymium compression drivers with titanium domes is mounted on a multiple aperture diffraction waveguide for wider coverage of 140°. The upgraded WL118-sw subwoofer, a single 18" version of the GP218-sw touring subwoofer, is included with the system. Using three RMX 5050 amplifiers and a single RMX 2450HD, a pair of ILA v2 arrays incorporating six full-range line array enclosures and a pair of subwoofers can be powered. Various rigging options are available.
