Most Interesting Worship Tech Director Articles for 2016, Part 5

Looking back on 2016, there were a great many well written pieces from the more than 40 writers who graciously submitted articles to the Worship Tech Director website throughout the year. As Site Editor, I wanted to the best standout written pieces that were originally posted to the site as far back as mid-January, around when the site was relaunched.

Having last week highlighted five of the top performing articles over the year, including Harness the Power of Color for Your Stage Lighting!, by Duke DeJong, I also wanted to point out this week five extremely well written pieces worthy of another read, or for those who might have missed them the first time, an opportunity to read them now.

Yesterday, I pointed out a piece by Brad Duryea, the Director of Audio Technologies for Lakewood Church in Houston, which was posted to the site on June 22. A couple months later, on August 5, Creative Arts Director at Community Christian Church in Naperville, Ill., Eric Bramlett, wrote a piece, Telling the Greatest Story Ever Told: As Filmmakers, We Must Own It.

I thought that Bramlett’s article brought home the concept that filmmakers must be good at being great storytellers, and discussing the concept of “Jesus moments.”

For those who haven't yet had an opportunity to read "Telling the Greatest Story Ever Told: As Filmmakers, We Must Own It" take the time to read the article here:
