The ProPlex® Opto-Splitter 2x8 is an optically isolated splitter/receiver for DMX that has two inputs and eight outputs, with the eight outs individually switchable to either of the two inputs. It is optically isolated to 1,000V. The signal delay in regeneration mode is 50µsec and < 0.1µsec in thru mode. The 19" 1U rackmount unit provides switchable regeneration mode for bit-level reclocking of data. On the input side, it features either two 5-pin male or one 5-pin and one 3-pin male XLR connector, and the output side can come either with eight 5-pin female or four 5-pin and four 3-pin female XLR connectors. The unit also has a Neutrik locking PowerCon for the power connector. Indicator LEDs for power, data, and mode status are on board. The power range for the unit is 100-230VAC, 50-60Hz; it draws 10W.
