PVP3 from Renewed Vision is a macOS-based media server with a graphics engine that allows it to be used downstream of a video switcher and, in many cases, as a replacement for a dedicated screen control system. Its processing engine can combine live and pre-recorded media, while applying realtime visual effects, masking, cropping, color processing, and other digital manipulation, with support for multiple 4K SDI and NDI video inputs/outputs. Cue-based triggering of theatrical events is enabled by its ability to control—or be controlled by—DMX and other staging controllers. Users can set up screens and targets in a pixel space based on the physical size of connected outputs and can use broadcast standards for transmission and extension of video content.
