Elektralite Launches my250 Moving Yoke Fixture

Elektralite is expanding its range of lighting fixtures with the new my250. Building on the my150 moving yoke fixture, the my250 is a compact fixture that is able to pan 630º and tilt 265º.

The fixture’s color wheel has eight colors and bi-colors with rainbow effect, six rotating indexable gobos and seven fixed gobos; the gobos are standard size and readily interchangeable. Precise electronic focus is complemented by the my250’s bi-directional rotating prism, which incorporates prism effects as well as dimmer and strobe. Gobos remain in focus across the entire visual field, not just the center, and morphing between gobos is easily achieved.

For greater flexibility, the my250 can be set to run independently, without the presence of a lighting board. Cues may be downloaded into its onboard re-programmable processor for replay, making this fixture the solution for industrial settings and events that do not necessarily require accompanying controllers, cabling, or an operator. The my250 can also be placed in a master/slave configuration or be controlled via a sound input.

The fixture’s digital address and display allows a variety of functions to be accessed, like operation of lamp control (on/off), pan and tilt reverse, and lamp and fixture hours.

The Elektralite my250 comes with mounting hardware including safety cable and a 50’ DMX cable. It includes a Philips MSD250/2 discharge lamp and the fixture’s small "footprint" is ideal in situations where an unobtrusive moving fixture is specified.
