Digital Projection’s E-Vision WUXGA 7500 Projector

Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, announces an expansion of their high-brightness, high-value single-chip E-Vision projection line. DPI’s new E-Vision WUXGA 7500 introduces advanced display features such as HDBaseT support, compatibility with numerous 3D standards and Lens Memory to the E-Vision series. With 7,500 lumens of brightness output, numerous lens options, user swappable color wheels and advanced color controls, the DLP®-driven E-Vision WUXGA 7500 continues DPI’s legacy of creating powerful, capable and efficient displays suited to serve a diversity of applications, including houses of worship, professional AV, entertainment and simulation. The new E-Vision WUXGA 7500 will commence shipping in early Q4.

Announced as a complement to the existing E-Vision 6000 and 7000 platforms already seeing strong adoption throughout professional applications, the new E-Vision WUXGA 7500 allows DPI’s customers to select the optimal E-Vision for their application based on price, resolution and capability. As the first DPI display to deliver native HDBaseT support, The E-Vision 7500 accepts the transmission of uncompressed High Definition Video over standard CAT5e/6 LAN cable as a direct input.

Additionally, the E-Vision 7500 contains a portion of DPI’s advanced 3D capabilities, including Dual Flash Processing, used to multiply the displayed frame rate for 3D sources. Incredibly lightweight, highly capable and affordable, the E-Vision WUXGA 7500 presents a compelling imaging solution for lecture halls, conference venues, houses of worship, corporate auditoriums and boardrooms, digital signage, and any other application needing bright, accurate imagery at a remarkably accessible price point.

A variety of fixed and zoom lens options gives the E-Vision WUXGA 7500 a flexible throw ratio range of .76:1 – 8.26:1. Two swappable color wheels allow the integrator or the end user to easily select and install the color wheel that provides the best balance of lumens and color depth to complement their application objectives and venue lighting conditions. With an MSRP of $10,995 plus lens, the 7,500 lumen E-Vision 7500 is priced to support a wide array of professional venue budgets.
