With eighteen Top 40 singles under their belts, the successful girl group the Sugababes recently graced all the major venues in the UK and Ireland wowing the audiences with their Overloaded greatest hits tour.
Lighting designer Vince Foster created a modern feel for the show, reflecting the young band’s popularity and a lightshow that delivered an unforgettable evening’s entertainment. The versatile rig included a mixture of Martin fixtures, but dominating the stage was a chevron shaped back wall constructed from 74 PixelLine 1044s.
Vince explains, “The main function of the PixelLines on this tour was to form a video wall behind the band. PixelLines have consistently been used in my designs recently. I love the way I can use them architecturally to define the shape of sets, truss etc. They have great impact in a show being so bright!”
The lighting was supplied by Neg Earth and the show was programmed and controlled using a Whole Hog 3 and a Catalyst.
