Insight from the Stage of Tomorrow

The international conference of new stage technologies, Stage of Tomorrow Conference, held its 2020 conference at Teatr Wielki, the Polish National Opera, where attendees listened to insight from Dan Braun, Metallica's show director, Glen Kelly (The Imagination Studio), Christopher Bauder (WHITEvoid GmbH), Giorgios Stylianou Matsis (scenography of Eurovision Junior song), and Pascal Richer (4U2C Design Studio / Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group), and product specialists from Robe, Claypaky, Vectorworks, and more.

Dan Braun, Metallica's show director, discussed what it takes to produce a concert, from inspiration and collaboration to the lights and multimedia.

Glen Kelly, head of production at The Imaginarium Studios—a production company linked to a digital performance-capture studio based in London, founded by actor-director Andy Serkis and film producer Jonathan Cavendish—discusses creating believable, emotionally engaging digital characters using performance capture technology. 

Giorgios Stylianou Matsis discusses the scenography for Eurovision Junior Song Contest 2019 and other television productions.

Christopher Bauder of WHITEvoid GmbH discusses the SKALAR 360 Installation.

Creative producer Pascal Richer discusses projects from 4U2C Design Studio and Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group.
