On December 31, Heather Shaw and her team at Vita Motus Design Studio enveloped Hunan TV Network's audience with two interconnected substages and an expansive thrust, presenting the 50 artists with several dynamic performance spaces embodying the elements: air, fire, water, metal, and finally, enlightenment. A central cubic sculpture representing earth and two beings representing air decorated the main stage, while the central thrust stage held by two chrome hands and a bank of lighting in the floor represented enlightenment. Stage right held the water-covered stage, and stage left featured the fire and metal stage with ongoing pyrotechnics throughout the performances.
