Grateful Dead Lighting Plots And Gear List

For Grateful Dead's recent Fare Thee Well Tour, Candace Brightman—the band's LD for 40 of their 50 year-history—left her retirement of eight years to be their lighting designer/director one last time. Paul Hoffman, a principal of Pulse Lighting, programmed the lighting. The two coordinated with Dizzy Gosnell of Bandit Lites, which provided the lighting equipment for the July 4 performances at Chicago's Soldier Field, while Felix Lighting supplied the same lighting rig for the preceding weekend at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Video content developed by Tim Zgraggen filled the screens from Filament Productions. Aaron Stinebrink was the media server programmer/operator. Justin Kreutzmann, son of drummer Bill Kreautzmann, and Obscura Digital provided additional video elements. Check out the lighting plots below and the creative team/crew and gear lists on the following pages.
