Beyoncé's Renaissance tour has kicked off in Stockholm's 50,000-seat Friend's Arena, and, according to early reports, the Queen did not disappoint. During the performance she shares the stage with various robot body parts (including a vagina, which she enters while pole dancing) a silver flying horse, and a giant arch.
Although the Renaissance album dropped last year, so far there have been no music videos to accompany it, and the tour's stage-wide video screen has yet to debut any, instead showing a mix of old clips and re-mixes.
The stage design appears to feature a metallic sheen, complementing props including robot arms and legs, and a silver horse she flies on. Her costumes, created by fashion houses including Alexander McQueen, Courrèges, and David Korma, in conjunction with costume designer Shiona Turini, were heavy on the catsuits.
