Fireplay Designers Discuss #KeepLiveAlive

The global pandemic COVID-19 has cancelled many live events, eliminated large gatherings, and driven people into their homes. In such challenging times, the entertainment industry has remained as creative as ever, turning to digital events, live streaming, and free online training to keep colleagues occupied and primed for work once the time comes. Design and production studio Fireplay has launched an equally creative and optimistic solution, KeepLiveAlive, offering new possibilities for fan engagement in a virtual-event context. Fireplay is partnering with PRG to create live-stream and on-demand content ready for distribution on any social channel. Fireplay will collaborate with the artist to create a design strategy. Utilizing PRG's inventory of cameras, lighting, audio, scenic, LED, and 35LIVE!, a new and innovative Cine Workflow in a multi-camera broadcast environment, Fireplay will then execute the design and film in a rented rehearsal space or studio. Finally, Fireplay will provide a fully-edited performance plus content that is edited for promotional campaigns across various social media platforms.

Live Design market leader, Marian Sandberg, chats with Fireplay's Co-founder and CEO, Nick Whitehouse, and COO/Executive Director of R&D, Kelly Sticksel, about KeepLiveAlive and how it is changing the entertainment landscape.
