Longtime Eurovision Song Contest production manager Ola Melzig discusses plans to bring the popular song contest to the United States in 2021.
Announced on the site ESC2USA, the official announcement states, "With an exclusive license from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) a dream team of ESC producers and TV producers are pleased to announce they are developing the Eurovision Song Contest, the world’s biggest live music show, for the American market, together with the international production company Brain Academy. The goal is for the very first American Song Contest to be ready to air in 2021."
