To reflect on the creative, innovative moments of 2020 and to welcome the hope that the New Year brings, Live Design is conducting 31 Days Of Plots. Every day during the month of December 2020, we will highlight a different lighting design, from across theatre, concert tours, corporate events, and more.
Lighting designer Dan Norman of Evolve Lights shares the lighting plots for Post Malone's performance featuring Tyla Yaweh at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. The bold lighting accentuated the unique structure "allowing just enough darkness for the pyrotechnics to have their moments, while still giving the high energy of a timecode programed performance," notes the designer.
