Zankel Hall

Ellen Lampert-Greaux reports on the exciting and innovative new space at Carnegie Hall in New York. Fourth Phase, ETC, Pool Diemont & Ohl, JR Clancy, and Theatre Solutions Inc. worked closely with design firm Auerbach Pollock Friedlander. Andrew's Audio provided the sound, video, and communication systems with equipment from: Meyer, Yamaha, BSS, Sennheiser, Hitachi, Sony, Williams Sound, Tannoy, Clear Com, QSC, and JBL.

Biltmore Theatre This Times Square jem in New York will re-open in November with new life thanks to the Manhattan Theatre Club group.

The highlight of this year’s Bregenz Festival in Germany was a new production of West Side Story, featuring a provocative set by George Tsypin. Equally intriguing was the elaborate sound design by Wolfgang Fritz. John Huntington reports.
