When The Lights Went Out with Sound Engineer Brandon Blackwell

In a continuation of Live Design's "When the Lights Went Out" series, freelance sound engineer and one of Live Design's 30 Under 30 in 2018, Brandon Blackwell discusses how he is coping with COVID-19 closings throughout the live events industry. Since graduating Full Sail University with a B.A. in Show Production and Touring, Blackwell has toured the world with Pharrell, Ne-Yo, Tori Kelly, Puff Daddy, A$AP Rocky, Usher, and more. These past few months, he has engaged in new hobbies, from day trading stocks to streaming video games on Twitch, to foster income.
