W-DMX At Toyota Box


The wireless DMX system W-DMX, from Wireless Solution Sweden AB, is now available in Portugal. AUDINOVA, the Portuguese W-DMX authorized distributor, supplied the system to Toyota Box Cultural Space in Lisbon.

According to Fernando Lopes, lightening technical manager of the system at Toyota Box, in Lisbon, “The W- DMX is fast, reliable and very useful. We have saved a lot of time by setting up this lights system for this musical.”

The Toyota Box Cultural Space, at the Alcântara Docks, in Lisbon, which hosts, at the present time, the musical Friday the 13th!. This musical portrays the urban life of a group of friends–their loves and their sorrows. All the songs of this musical come from one of the most emblematic and famous Portuguese rock band called Xutos e Pontapés.

For this show a wireless W-DMX was installed with two DMX-512 universes, which allowed the distribution of various DMX signs as well as the wide variety of lightening equipment – conventional lightening, via dimmers and robotic.
