Tyler Truss Systems, Inc.(TTS) announced it has opened a third office in Nashville. The office is located at Soundcheck, the nation’s largest full-production rehearsal facility under one roof. The TTS office is geared to serve entertainment touring and corporate event truss system requirements. TTS’ business and sales headquarters are located in Pendleton, Indiana, just northeast of Indianapolis. Its fabrication facility is located in Tyler, Texas.
In addition to the office opening, and in partnership with Soundcheck, Tyler Truss has installed a working 40’ x 30’ custom ground support system with wings in Soundcheck’s Studio A. Offered as a benefit to the stars who rehearse at Soundcheck, the six-tower system features a 26” x 30” double hung pre-rig truss perimeter, 12” tower truss, two 10’ sound wings, and a mid-stage truss span for various rigging requirements.
“To better service the entertainment touring and corporate event industries, locating an office in Nashville was atop the list,” says Bill Edwards, TTS’ director of business development and marketing. “When the opportunity to join Soundcheck’s team of elite entertainment production tenants (e.g. MooTV, Tour Supply Inc., Digico, Shure, Meyer Sound, and others) arose, it was an easy decision.”
“Tyler Truss is gaining the respect of a growing number of well-known entertainment and corporate production companies and independent producers,” comments Mark Dodd, president and owner of Tyler Truss. “The opportunity to hang our sign in Nashville, and to do so in Soundcheck, is a fantastic opportunity for our team at TTS. We are extremely excited.”
“I am pleased to welcome Tyler Truss, one of the premier structure companies in the US, to the Soundcheck family,” says Soundcheck owner Ben Jumper. “And with the addition of the rigging grid in Studio A, Tyler has upgraded our facility and we can now offer our clients the additional service of production rigging. We’re very excited and look forward to Tyler’s bright future here at Soundcheck.”
