Steve Woods On Artistic Finance Podcast

Lighting designer/professor Steve Woods, one of The Lumen Brothers, is a host of the weekly podcast, Light Talk. This week he is heard on the other side of the microphone as Ethan Steimel's guest on Artistic Finance, another podcast series. 

As a lighting designer, Steve Woods has designed at The Dallas Theatre Center, Undermain Theatre, and Kitchen Dog Theatre. Regionally, he has designed at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, The Kennedy Center, and the Spoleto Festival.

In New York, he has designed at Theatre for a New Audience, the Joyce Theatre, The York Theatre Company, and Lincoln Center. His dance designs have been seen internationally in Mexico and across Europe. Since 1988, he has designed for the Jose Limon Dance Company.

Currently, Woods teaches in the MFA Stage Design program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. That has led him to head the Design Showcase East each spring in New York City.
