Staff Changes at Stage Equipment and Lighting

Stage Equipment and Lighting Inc.

(SEAL) has announced two staff changes. Adam Vidauri recently moved from Orlando to the Tampa office where he assumes the duties of branch manager. Vidauri originally came to SEAL from Martin Professional and worked for TMB Associates in California prior to moving to Florida. He views Florida's West Coast market as a new challenge for development, and hopes to help carry the Tampa branch to a new market level.

SEAL also welcomes Curt Contrata into the Orlando office. Contrata will be available as a sales consultant and lighting designer. He brings with him a wealth of hands-on experience from the video/film industry. Beginning his career in the 1970s at a public television studio, Curt has designed and executed a variety of lighting and staging projects from PBS specials in Egypt to ABC's Wide World of Sports. Most recently, Curt headed the Univision network's lighting department as main lighting designer where his duties included studio-originated news and special events from the White House to the recent World Cup in Korea. While at Univision Contrata was responsible for the design and specification of complete equipment packages for 14 new studios and a grip truck. One particularly challenging project involved the total conversion of two large empty remote soundstages into a fully functional television game-show studio complete with a motorized custom aluminum grid system.

Stage Equipment and Lighting Inc. is a two-time recipient of ESTA's Manufacturers' Choice Dealer of the Year Award and is a full-service theatrical equipment stocking distributor with offices in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.
