See What’s New At ETC’s LDI 2007 Booth

ETC has a blockbuster lineup of products to show at their LDI 2007 tradeshow booth, #827, in Orlando November 16 -18, including the unveiling of their much-anticipated Ion™ lighting control console.

The little sister of ETC’s multi-award winning Eos® lighting control system—which took best debuting product honors at LDI 2006—Ion boasts Eos’s intuitive operational style and ease of use. Ion is only 19” wide but provides powerful, fully integrated control of conventional and moving lights, making it the perfect solution for small and space-challenged venues.

The board is offered in three basic configurations: 1000, 1500, or 2000 channels/outputs, and can be used as a standalone console, a networked system of up to four Ion programming devices, or as a remote programming station for an Eos system. Featuring a generous keypad and dedicated encoders for non-intensity parameter control, Ion also sports a grand master, blackout button, and a master split fader. As rig and lighting requirements change, Ion expands to handle it all, supporting up to six optional USB fader wings for an additional 240 submasters with paging controls. Demo the whole ETC console line up at LDI – including Ion, Eos, Congo™, and Congo jr.

The ETC booth will also be the place to see the newest entry in ETC’s line of Smart Solutions™ lighting gear: the ultra-compact, ultra-affordable SmartFade® ML control desk. This little powerhouse boasts some big-console features in an ultra-portable footprint. Handling up to 24 moving lights and 48 intensity channels (dimmers), this board is perfect for small-scale venues such as schools, club gigs, touring shows, houses of worship, and mobile video shoots. SmartFade ML also features ETC’s new SmartSoft™ software, which will be a freedownload from ETC’s website. SmartSoft adds visuals to the power of SmartFade ML and gives users the ability to view, build, and edit show data.
