New Hires And Promotion At Vincent Lighting Systems

Vincent Lighting Systems (VLS) has appointed Kevin Lowry to End User Sales for the Northern Ohio and Indiana area, as well as Western Pennsylvania. A native of California, Lowry found his way to the Midwest through Otterbein College, located in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Technology and has worked for Rosco Laboratories in Customer Service, Technical Support, and Product Development. Lowry also applies his experience through workshops designed to help technicians and actors alike understand and respect each other’s responsibilities.

Joseph Tupa has joined VLS as a project manager. Tupa has more than 20 years of experience working in Cleveland and Milwaukee venues as stagehand, rigger, and lighting technician. He has also worked various commercial shoots and music videos as gaffer, grip, and everything in between. Tupa took a hiatus in 1998, when he was hired by Conrail as a conductor. There, he moved up the corporate ladder to hazardous materials manager. Through that experience, he realized a passion for emergency response, and still works closely with the local volunteer fire department in his home county.

She is replacing Matt Klasmeier, who has been promoted to Specification Sales. Klasmeier has been with VLS for 10 years and will focus on Southern Ohio, Kentucky, and Central /Southern Indiana.
