Live Design’s Professional Training Initiatives At LDI2018

New York, NY – Live Design has announced initiatives to help empower professionals with the most innovative tools and techniques. LDI2018, to be held October 15-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will showcase cutting-edge technology and the latest designs to best educate and inform professionals of the newest trends and innovations in the live entertainment design industry.

LDI2018 offers hands-on training, small classes, and personalized learning in the 2018 LDInstitute™ track, which covers lighting consoles, software, media servers, laser training, rigging, and electrics.

This year’s LDIntensives™ offer a unique mix of topics from Ethernet and technical direction to project management and projection mapping. LDI’s exclusive insider event at Disneyland and California Adventure Park takes attendees behind the scenes to learn how Disney magic is made.

The LDInnovation Conference™ includes three days of essential sessions on the issues at the heart of our industry, with the latest production tips and techniques, lighting applications, lighting console programming, and projection practices.

In addition to access to over 100 training sessions, LDI attendees can watch live demos at LDI: Live Outside, discover the latest products at the New Technology Breakfasts, and network with over 390 exhibitors.

Live Design and LDI also recognize individuals, companies, products, and projects that are examples of the most innovative tools and techniques through the annual LDI Awards and the inaugural KOI-USA Awards.
