Morpheus Lights has announced the resignation of Jim Gordon, vice president of sales and marketing, who has left to pursue new opportunities. "Jim served as the company spokesman for 14 years," says Bob King, president of Morpheus. "He's made an enormous contribution."
Dan English, vice president of operations, will assume additional responsibilities for marketing and sales. "Jim and I worked together for many years to bring the highest level of service to our customers," says English. "Morpheus will continue to provide top quality systems and personnel to the touring industry. We've evolved our FlipBox packaging system to provide unsurpassed efficiency using the full range of automated and conventional fixtures available in today's market."
Morpheus systems are currently on tour with Phil Lesh & Friends, Riverdance, and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. A major installation of the WeatherFader, the sealed, architectural version of the ColorFader, is currently underway at the new Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka.
