Coolux Is Keeping Busy

Coolux is proud to highlight some of the many recent projection projects and news.

Coolux At Showtec In Berlin And InfoComm In Anaheim, CA
At Showtec 2007, coolux international presented new products for 2007: Pandoras Box MediaVision, a multimedia controller which opens up a new dimension for realtime composing of video screens and video playback. In addition, new “add-on” hardware was shown, such as the new Pandoras Box DMX Link and the release of the Pandoras Box MediaSplitter, which allows control of eight individual outputs on each server.

Pandoras Box Rolls Out In India
Coolux distributor and business partner, Paul Movies of New Delhi, organized the official coolux media systems roll out in India. 220 people attended a one-day presentation and demonstration to see new show applications with coolux products. Spherical projection on a 1.50-meter diameter and real 3D projection gave visitors direct access and new possibilities for using Pandora Box MediaSystems products in India.

Pandoras Box First In London’s O² Arena
UK-based Show Support and their customer, Production Agency-Conference Connections, created a multimedia extravaganza for the first-ever show at the new O² Arena in London for one of the world’s largest banking organizations. Guests were treated to performances by two top bands, Sugarbabes and McFly. As a backdrop for the show, three screens of Lighthouse R16 LED panels were driven from a series of Pandoras Box Media Servers with band content driven from a Hog III lighting console and the walk up content driven from Media Manager. Show Support also provided a fully packaged Grass Valley Kayak-driven six-camera PPU package and an L’Acoustic dVDOSC / Kudo soundsystem.

Hong Kong Dance Company On Tour With Pandoras Box
The Hong Kong Dance Company held dance productions in Shanghai in May 2007 and Hong Kong in March 2007. Coolux partner Switch On Projects used Pandoras Box MediaServers to cover the entire cyclorama (rear projection screen) 16m x 8m. By using two Sanyo XF46 12,000 lumen projectors, they created one high-definition softedge image. At the same time, there were lots of wagons, dancers, and props moving in and through the projection area’s tight space at the back of the theatre.
