Christie Names George Tsintzouras Sr. Product Manager, Business Products

Christie, global provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, has named George Tsintzouras its new senior product manager for Christie’s business products division. Tsintzouras' long tenure at Christie and his extensive optical design and technical expertise will be invaluable as Christie further penetrates the growing business applications market.

Since joining Christie in 1996, Tsintzouras has held pivotal roles in the design and development of Christie’s breakthrough technologies that include the first 3-Chip DLP® projector ever built, the Christie Roadster series of high brightness projectors for the rental/staging market, and an innovative dual lamp coupling system for mission critical control rooms. Tsintzouras has led many teams that successfully delivered complex systems to Christie customers and expanded the company’s product offerings. Most recently, he led various projects for Christie’s Visual Environments group in the development of new control room and rear projection display systems. In his new position, Tsintzouras will be responsible for product management of Christie’s 3-Chip DLP projectors, which are used primarily for houses of worship, Rental/Staging, large venues, corporate events, government applications, and sporting events.

Tsintzouras has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics (B.Sc.) from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the internationally recognized Project Management Institute (PMI®) and holds a Masters certificate in Project Management from the Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
