Changes To Altman Lighting Sales Team

Altman Lighting announced that Teddy Van Bemmel will take an extended leave of absence from the company to spend more time with his family. No replacement has been appointed yet in Van Bemmel’s Southeast territory, so in the interim his accounts will be covered by the rest of the Altman sales team of Mike Tucker, Gary Raymond Leonard, Mark Walsh, and Russell Altman.

“Everyone here at Altman appreciates all of Teddy’s hard work over the years for the company and on behalf of everyone at Altman and myself; we wish Teddy and his family the very best,” states Bob Altman, president.

Robert Spilatore, Altman’s director of sales, commented that Van Bemmel’s departure comes at a time when Altman’s sales team is very busy, especially with Altman’s Architectural product line. The success of this line has prompted some internal changes at Altman to allow the company to better respond to this market. “We are working to fulfill our promise made at LDI for new theatrical products as well,” explains Spilatore. “We are working to better support our current dealer network while building our network of architectural sale representatives across the country. We are trying to balance our commitment to both our architectural line and our highly successful theatrical line as we go forward.”

Altman has also been making changes at its production level to streamline current production while adding new products to the production line. “I believe that we are making changes that will only strengthen our efficiency, without affecting the quality of the Altman product line,” says Mark Savini, general manager of Altman Lighting. “There are some real technological advances about to be launched in our next round of products that we are preparing for as well.”
