Broadway Sound Master Classes Launched

Entertainment Design

is launching the Broadway Sound Master Classes to go along with the long-running Broadway Lighting Master Classes. The classes will be held on June 28 and 29, at John Jay College in New York City.

The creative consultant for the Sound Master Classes as well as faculty chair is sound designer Abe Jacob with speakers including Tom Clark, Mark Menard, Nevin Steinberg, John Leonard, Chris Cronin, Chris Evans, and John Kilgore.

"Sound is the most subjective of all theatre design disciplines. Therefore, knowing what to listen for is as important as the system design itself," says Jacob. "With the Broadway Sound Master Classes, we will attempt to address both matters in an informative and entertaining manner. Join us in June for this exciting and important educational event."
