Barbara Barnum Joins TMB Sales

The latest addition to TMB’s sales department is Barbara Barnum. Described in the company's release as a Jack (or Jill) of All Trades, she has worked as a service technician at High End Systems and Gemini Stage Lighting, a pyrotechnician at Pyrotex and a lighting designer/CAD operator at Intelecon. On the personal side, she’s into snorkeling, dirt biking, kayaking, hiking, climbing, rollerblading, rock collecting and Sponge Bob Square Pants. In addition, she has a new Italian in her life – a 130 horsepower Aprilia Tuono-R motorcycle – a “real ball-crusher!” she says.

It was just this balance of technical experience, intelligence and bravado that TMB was looking for: Lured by TMB’s culture of “Fun is Profitable”, Barnum moved from Dallas to Los Angeles. She has quickly become TMB LA’s resident expert on moving lights, controllers, CAD and image manipulation systems such as Catalyst and RADLite.

According to Tommy Stephenson, TMB’s sales manager: “The consensus here is that Barbara kicks ass. Her energy and competitiveness make her ideal for TMB. After all, pushing the limits and achieving the impossible while having lots of fun is what TMB is all about!
