InfoComm 2019: Live Sound Highlights

InfoComm is a wrap! Once again, interconnectivity, AI, immersive technologies, and connected workflows were big buzzwords. But there were plenty of exciting pro audio debuts from the usual heavy hitters. Browse through a few highlights.

1.6 Million Lumens at Vivid Sydney 2019

TDC provided expertise in large scale projection mapping, LED video and technology for a number of the 50+ features at Vivid Sydney 2019, which was brought to life via 70 projectors, 1,600,000 lumens, 161,280,000 pixels, and 36 kms of cable.

Robbie Williams Las Vegas Residency Production Design

Seán Burke of Holes In The Dark Limited took on several creative duties for Robbie Williams Las Vegas residency at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, including stage, lighting, and video design.

Staging Mumford & Sons Delta Tour

Mumford & Sons are out on their Delta Tour, with lighting design by long-term LD Ed Warren and Phil Kaikoura, who included an extensive Kinesys automation system, designed and provided by Brilliant Stages. Fourteen lighting pods and 36 Kinesys Apex motors create a changing look that effectively fills and morphs within the over-stage void.

Lighting Hamilton: The Exhibition

Working closely with creative director David Korins (who designed the sets for Hamilton, the musical), lighting designers from Lightswitch illuminated "Hamilton: The Exhibition."
