DALLAS, TEXAS –September 24, 2015 – Today Syncrolite LLC announced that Jerry Trojan, current Executive Vice President, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and that Steve Washington, current Vice President of Operations, will assume the role of Chief Product Officer.
Trojan joined Syncrolite full-time in June 2013 as Chief Financial Officer and EVP. Before becoming CFO and EVP Trojan had been part of the Syncrolite team as a valued consultant since 2004.
Prior to joining Syncrolite, Trojan had served as the CFO for several public and private commercial companies outside the entertainment lighting industry and worked at VLPS Lighting Services International Inc. (formerly known as Vari-Lite International Inc. and Showco Inc.), beginning in May 1995, ultimately serving as Vice President of Finance and CFO until the sale of the company to Production Resource Group (PRG) in 2004. He is a Certified Public Accountant and MBA.
Washington’s advancement to Chief Product Officer is the latest in a long list of entertainment industry accomplishments. Washington had been serving as the Vice President of Operations since joining the management team in February 2013 and was a long-time key player at Production Resource Group (PRG) and Vari-Lite before coming to Syncrolite.
