Production AV To Create Pro-kit ‘Newsroom’ At The Event Production Show

UK – Video solutions specialist Production AV is inviting visitors to the Event Production Show to get hands-on in a real-world newsroom situation as it demonstrates the capabilities of its high-end kit.

The Cheltenham-based company – which celebrates 15 years of visuals success this year – will transform stand F24E into a fully-functioning live news set up. Equipment ready to showcase includes Production AV’s disguise media servers, a Barco S3-4K Switcher, Sony Camera channels, 2mm and 3mm LED screen products and an “outstanding” PPU.

The Event Production Show runs 25-26 February at ExCel in East London.

“It’s time to come and play director of a bustling broadcast newsroom with Production AV this year at the Event Production Show!” says Pete McCrea, MD of Production AV. “We’re excited to demo the best in pro-video solutions in a real-world scenario, applying the technology to as-real situations. We feel this is the best way to learn about what can be achieved, first-hand.”

Production AV’s Technical Project Manager, Nathan Dunbar, adds: “We’re very proud of the video solutions packages we have on offer and the Event Production Show enables us to not only show how it works but also let visitors use it to learn, understand and be inspired about how it can enhance their events.

“Come and see how our Barco S3s handle multiple sources of media and how we manipulate video in real time using disguise servers, plus much more.”

The company’s ‘newsroom’ will be backed by Production AV’s range of Desay indoor LED modules, which can be built in both concave and convex configurations as either a flown or ground support configuration.
