Maestra Wins Middle East Event Award For Supplier Of The Year

Maestra Group – Dubai and London based event design and technical production specialist – has won a coveted 2016 Middle East Event Award (MEEA) for ‘Supplier of the Year’ which was awarded Wednesday night at a high profile ceremony at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

The annual event recognises the talent and achievements of individuals and companies in the region who are working in the world of events, shows and activations.

A delighted Tom Clements, managing partner of Maestra Dubai and Justin Hammond, managing director of Maestra London received the award from host Ruby Wax in front of an enthusiastic audience representing all sectors of the industry.

Tom stated, “It was a fantastic surprise … we attended the Awards really excited to have received a nomination in this category … but not expecting anything other than to have an amazing night catching up with industry friends, acquaintances and colleagues.

“Winning the award is absolutely the icing on the cake after an incredible year for us here in the Middle East .. and a great tribute to all our staff, crew and other members of the team and their hard work and dedication”.

The prestigious MEEA Awards were judged by a panel of industry specialists and practitioners from a variety of sectors and disciplines, all known and respected for their first-hand experience and knowledge of the industry.

Maestra London’s Justin Hammond flew in specially to attend the Awards event. The UK operation launched in January to extend the scope of the Group, to further enable international client continuity and add to the dynamic exchange of resources. He commented, “This really underlines the commitment to service and excellence of all involved in Maestra”.

In the last year, Maestra Dubai has supplied technical production and design to a diverse range of shows and events in the Middle East, including WWE’s Dune Bash, Disney Live, Dubai Art Season, the 2016 World Drone Prix and SMK Tennis.
